India is moving ahead with LG’s new flagship mobile G4, it is recently reported that LG India’s website has unveiled the pricing for LG G4 as ₹51,500 ($804) before the device release in country on June 19. It is also confirmed that the LG G4 in India will be offered in leather by default, with the brown and black color options available to buyers. LG has confirmed that it will sell the dual-SIM version in the country, which has the same specs as the single-SIM variant.
The ₹51,500 figure is probably the retail price, and it is possible the street price could be slightly lower. E-commerce retailer Infibeam is already offering the device for ₹49,999 ($780), although it is still vague at this point whether it is the version licensed for India or an imported handset. Flipkart also has the brown variant listed for ₹49,600, with the black leather option showing as out of stock.
LG is also taking pre-orders for the G4, with customers getting a back cover, extra battery with charging cradle and one-time screen replacement for free.
