A sad news for creative mobile users, ‘Adobe’ has recently announced that they will no longer continue to support ‘Photoshop Touch’ and furthermore it will no longer be available on iTunes, Google Play and all other app libraries. It was really hard for the creativity giant to sell ‘Photoshop Touch’ at 10$, especially when the new cloud apps began rolling out for free. ‘Adobe’ is instead focusing more on their Creative Cloud apps like Shape CC, Color CC, Brush CC, Comp CC and Photoshop Mix.
“Sometimes building for the future means we need to make hard choices and today I am also announcing that we are discontinuing Photoshop Touch. For those of you who have been using Photoshop Touch, thank you and please continue creating amazing work with it; while it will no longer be available in stores as of May 28th and we won’t ship further updates, it will remain completely functional on your devices for the foreseeable future.”
There is no word yet on whether or not ‘Adobe’ will also discontinue ‘Photoshop Express’ for ‘Android’ as well. ‘Photoshop Touch’ will be available for download until May 28. ‘Adobe’ will no longer support the app after that date, but it will continue to work on your devices.
