The future of communication is heading towards its finest evolution. ‘Turing Robotic Industries’ has recently announced a new smartphone which has a very clever design. There’s no official name for it at the moment but TRI has been referring it as a ‘Turing phone’ for now.
“Our mission is to develop revolutionary trustworthy devices and networks that keep communications and data safe from cyber threats. From the world’s first liquid-metal mobile phone to tomorrow’s groundbreaking robotics, TRI is redefining what it means to be secure.”
‘Turing phone’ keeps up special value to the company’s security service with its own server-free encrypted communication between owners and there’s also a finger-print reader that encourages users to lock down their device. With such high security the device also comes with its master-public key and unique-private key pre-installed with the phone. If users are communicating with another ‘Turing phone’ it will be easier for both of them to identify their identities. And what’s the conclusion for all of this encryption and security?
The ‘Turing Robotic Industries’ states “A protected communications network that is entirely insulated from cyber-threats and privacy intrusions. Within this circle of trust, users can exchange sensitive data such as social security numbers or bank wiring instructions and know that the information will reach only the device intended,”
As for the device interface and specs, it is reported that it will be operating on Android 5.0 as standard, other major features include a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual flashes, an 8-megapixel front camera and a 3,000mAh battery. It is also reported that it will be having a decent amount of built-in storage (up to 128GB). Regarding performance it is not definitely a cutting-edge device but still not bad. ‘Turing phone’ will have Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM
The real highlight of this device is frame. The material used for it is ‘Liquidmorphium’. A metal alloy that’s reportedly stronger than steel or titanium. While there’s also aluminum, ceramic and plastic on the body, that exotic structure should reduce the chances that you’ll wreck your handset through a nasty drop. So users feel like man-of-steel should get this phone as it will definitely match personality.
‘Turing Robotic Industries’ has announced that they should ship on August 10th, and yes the price tag is as expected 740$ unlocked with 64GB or $870 for a 128GB variant. Some rumors regarding carrier deals as well although not sure which network are on board.
